Toccoa Falls

Toccoa Falls is 28-feet higher than Niagara Falls and is one of the tallest single-drop waterfalls in the United States. It is located on the campus of Toccoa Falls College. Visitors enter through a gift shop for a small fee and walk an accessible 100-yard path to reach the waterfall.

Traveler's Rest Stagecoach Inn

Traveler’s Rest State Historic Site

Georgia’s last surviving stagecoach inn and plantation home has barely changed since being built by James R. Wyly in 1815. It’s appreciated for its architectural significance and the quality of its preservation. Admission is between $1 and $5 depending on age

Frady Branch Equestrian and Bike Trail System

Frady Branch Equestrian and Bike Trail System

A moderately trafficked loop trail in a beautiful forest setting with three historic homesites, two cemeteries, a small quarry, and a 50-foot waterfall. The trails is 4.3 miles, has an elevation gain of 600 feet, and is dog friendly, but dogs must be leashed.

Opened year round. Winter hiking is recommended

Ritz Theater in Toccoa

Historic Ritz Theater

Home to the the Toccoa Symphony Orchestra, Toast of Toccoa, Toccoa Harvest Festival, and the Ida Cox Music Series, the Historic Ritz Theater hosts concerts, films, and plays year round. The theater was built in 1939 as a single screen movie theater with 500 seats.
